Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support their daily comfort
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in condition promptly
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and professionally with nursing staff, residents, and families
- Support care plans by documenting interventions and participating in team care meetings
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or ability to obtain state certification)
- Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts as scheduled
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and any required screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical knowledge of resident care and activities of daily living
- Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Good time management and teamwork skills in a clinical setting
- Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and colleagues
