Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Support residents with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility in a respectful manner
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Assist with meals and ensure residents’ comfort and safety during the shift
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
- Collaborate with the care team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Ability to work the 2:45 PM - 10:30 PM evening shift
- Comfortable providing hands-on care to residents and working as part of a team
- Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident-centered care and bedside manner
- Knowledge of basic infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Good communication skills for clear handoffs and family interactions
- Reliable time management and documentation skills
