Shift Type: Days vary as scheduled, 2:45 PM - 10:30 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 39
Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility while preserving dignity
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Maintain clean, organized care areas and follow infection control practices
- Document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity and quality of care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
- Active placement on the Maine CNA registry or ability to register promptly
- Willingness to complete facility-required health screenings and background checks
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with resident care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Accurate documentation and electronic charting comfort
- Team collaboration, clear communication and time management
