Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and support to residents, preserving dignity and comfort
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Document resident status and care provided in a clear, timely manner
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Participate in team huddles, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or eligible) — state-specific certification required
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable providing hands-on resident care and assisting with ADLs
• Basic vital signs measurement and recognition of common clinical changes
• Familiarity with documentation standards and patient charts
• Good communication skills with residents, families, and staff
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Teamwork mindset and willingness to learn and follow care plans
