Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days not specified)

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Monitor and document resident conditions and vital signs, reporting notable changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Support meal assistance and observe residents during meal times to ensure safety and nutrition
- Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents, following infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and the interdisciplinary care team to help deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- GNA certification (or equivalent state nursing assistant certification)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
- Clear background check and ability to meet facility health/screening requirements
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-centered approach
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited GNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care and common age-related conditions
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control practices and resident safety protocols
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
