Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with compassion and dignity
• Perform routine patient care tasks such as positioning, transferring and ambulation to keep residents safe and mobile
• Measure and document vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident charts and care plans
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to advocate for resident needs
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture that enhances resident quality of life

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing
• Eligible for or holding CNA certification in Pennsylvania as required
• Comfortable and experienced working overnight/night shift assignments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively
• Reliable, professional, and committed to resident-centered care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and comfortable assisting with ADLs
• Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
• Familiarity with infection prevention and standard precautions
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
• Good documentation and time management skills
• Teamwork and the ability to follow care plans and nursing direction
