Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, toileting, feeding and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition changes accurately
- Assist nursing staff with care plans and timely communication of concerns
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
- Support patient dignity and comfort during evening and overnight hours
- Document care activities clearly to support continuity across shifts
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Ability to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Local candidates only (must be able to commute to the facility)
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Comfort with basic patient handling and bedside care tasks
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic knowledge of patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Skill in taking and documenting vital signs and reporting changes
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safety practices
- Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nursing staff
- Good interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with teammates
