Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Support team members during admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Document care activities accurately and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary staff
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable providing direct patient care in a long-term/post-acute setting
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused approach to care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and ADL assistance
- Taking and documenting vital signs
- Infection control and safe patient handling practices
- Clear verbal and written communication with residents and staff
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
