Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Help patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility while preserving dignity
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Accurately document care and observations in the patient record
- Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
- Maintain infection control standards and keep patient areas tidy and safe
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and colleagues
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (applicable state certification required)
- Available to start January 26, 2026 for a 13-week local assignment
- Comfortable working the 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Ability to pass background check and required immunizations
- Reliable local transportation (LOCAL ONLY assignment)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living and patient hygiene
- Basic knowledge of vital signs and safe patient handling
- Familiarity with documentation and care reporting
- Good time management and ability to work as part of a care team
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
