Shift Type: Rotating schedule, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift). Week 1: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. Every other weekend required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
• Document care accurately and timely in the facility record systems
• Support mealtime assistance and hydration needs, honoring resident preferences
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team to implement care plans

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification — state-appropriate or eligible to obtain
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Comfortable with lifting and assisting residents with mobility needs
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing respectful resident-centered care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and current LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident care and bedside manner — treat people like family
• Knowledge of ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting) and safe transfer techniques
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, feeding assistance, observing changes
• Good documentation and communication skills with clinical teams
• Understanding of infection control and facility safety procedures
• Team-player attitude and ability to prioritize in a busy care environment
