Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition accurately
• Support safe transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics
• Assist nursing team with treatments and follow care plans with attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report safety concerns promptly
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document care in a timely and accurate manner to ensure continuity

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Active basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working in long-term and skilled nursing settings
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work every other weekend as required
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident-centered care and infection control practices
• Proficiency in taking and charting vital signs and observations
• Knowledge of safe transfer and lifting techniques
• Good communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff and families
• Basic familiarity with electronic medical records or paper charting
