Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care, observations, and any incidents accurately and timely
• Support mobility, feeding, hygiene, and personal care with dignity and respect
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or T-CNA certification
• Active state CNA registration as required by facility
• Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate care to older adults
• Ability to pass facility background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Accurate vital sign measurement and reporting
• Clear documentation and effective communication with clinical staff
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
