Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (specific days not specified / to be confirmed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote independence whenever possible
- Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and thoroughly to ensure continuity and safety
- Support safe transfer and mobility practices, using proper body mechanics
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
- Participate in care planning and team huddles to deliver coordinated, person-centered care
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Comfort working with geriatric and long-term care populations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and respect for older adults
- Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited GNA or nursing assistant training program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and elder needs
- Infection control and safe handling procedures
- Ability to accurately take and record vital signs
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident safety
- Friendly, patient-centered communication with residents and families
