Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered personal care with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support safe mobility and fall prevention through attentive assistance
- Take and record basic vital signs and observe for changes in condition
- Document care accurately and communicate resident needs to the nursing team
- Collaborate with coworkers and families to create a comfortable, home-like environment
Qualifications
- GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) — current or in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but enthusiasm and a caring attitude count too
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a state-approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant program (or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with ADLs (activities of daily living) and basic resident care
- Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
- Comfortable with documentation and timely reporting of care
- Compassion, patience, and ability to work with older adults, including those with dementia
