Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, dignified care for older adults, assisting with daily living activities
• Support bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and toileting with respect and patience
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff promptly
• Assist with feeding and nutritional needs, including feeding assistance when required
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, observations and resident interactions
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep residents safe
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create a positive care environment

Qualifications

• Current GNA certification or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required per facility
• Comfortable working with geriatric populations and supporting activities of daily living
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with ADLs and resident mobility assistance
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to observe and accurately report changes in resident condition
• Reliable documentation and basic charting skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
