Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document resident conditions and changes accurately and promptly
• Support safe and comfortable transfers, mobility assistance, and bathing routines
• Communicate clearly with the care team and families to coordinate personalized care plans
• Follow facility protocols for infection control, safety, and resident dignity
• Contribute to a positive, person-centered environment that respects resident preferences

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or T-LNA credential (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Valid state authorization to practice in New Hampshire or ability to obtain
• Comfort working the listed 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift and covering evening care needs
• Ability to pass background checks, health screenings, and required onboarding
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

• Completion of an accredited LNA program or equivalent; high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in resident care and ADLs with attention to safety
• Good documentation skills and basic charting familiarity
• Comfortable with teamwork, clear communication, and following care plans
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to handle busy shift rhythms
• Basic knowledge of infection control and facility safety procedures
