Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and support to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Follow individualized care plans and document care accurately and timely
• Help create a safe, clean, and dignified environment for residents
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
• Support mealtime assistance and timely medication reminders under supervision

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — VT or NH eligible
• Local candidate preferred (note: position is LOCAL ONLY)
• Availability for every-other-weekend scheduling as required by the facility
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team
• Comfort with physical aspects of care and standing/assisting for shift duration
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to resident-centered care

Education

• Completion of an approved LNA program or equivalent training
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills for personal care and basic resident monitoring
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate support
• Time management to complete assigned tasks during each shift
• Willingness to learn and receive coaching from nursing staff
