Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility to promote independence and prevent injury
• Accurately document care and observations in the resident chart and communicate with team members
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful, person-centered care
• Participate in teamwork and unit communication to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification/license (Licensed Nursing Assistant)
• Must be local to the Rutland area (LOCAL ONLY) and have reliable personal transportation
• Willingness to work night shifts and commit to every-other-weekend coverage
• Available for a 13-week assignment starting 2026-02-02 through 2026-04-27
• Ability to pass required facility checks and comply with facility policies

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program and active LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
• Basic charting/ documentation skills and attention to detail
• Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans
