Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations accurately and efficiently using best practices
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment with attention to safety and comfort
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure high-quality imaging and timely results
• Maintain clear, professional communication with patients to explain procedures and reduce anxiety
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards at all times
• Document procedures and patient information in the electronic health record accurately
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate appropriately to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in radiologic technology / radiology
• Current state radiologic technologist licensure (recommended to be active for Wichita, KS assignment)
• ARRT certification preferred or equivalent credentialing encouraged
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred where applicable
• Comfortable working independently on overnight shifts and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and dose reduction principles
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record documentation
• Patient-centered approach with strong communication and empathy
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
