Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care: assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in condition accurately and promptly
• Support nursing staff by following care plans, reporting patient changes, and completing assigned tasks
• Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Build rapport with residents and families through respectful, attentive communication and person-centered care
• Assist with safe transfers and positioning, using proper body mechanics and lift-assist devices when available

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to embrace the travel assignment with a positive attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to assist with ADLs and support daily care routines
• Strong observational skills for reporting changes in patient condition
• Basic charting and documentation skills, attentive to detail
• Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety standards
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and staff
• Teamwork mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
