Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams for adult outpatients, using proper patient positioning and radiography techniques
• Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff
• Chart accurately and efficiently in EPIC after each exam
• Provide thorough trauma and extremity imaging (lower and upper extremity, spine and pelvis) as needed
• Serve as charge technologist when assigned — manage workflow and communicate with clinical teams
• Float between Tarzana and Mission Hills clinics when coverage is needed, maintaining consistent care across sites
• Complete required orientation and follow facility policies to ensure excellent patient experiences

Qualifications

• CRT (Required) and BLS (Required) — must be current
• ARRT certification accepted but not required
• Limited radiology technologist license appropriate for the state (pending licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of radiography experience (Outpatient experience required)
• Previous charge experience required
• Comfortable with EPIC charting
• Willingness to float between Tarzana and Mission Hills locations when needed
• First-time travel technologists are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography expertise and strong patient positioning skills
• Radiation safety best practices
• Proficient with EPIC charting and outpatient workflows
• Extremity imaging (ankle, foot, knee, toes) and lower extremity trauma imaging
• Spine and pelvis imaging (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, pelvis, sacrum/coccyx)
• Upper extremity imaging (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand) including trauma views
• Ability to work in an outpatient setting with adolescents through geriatrics
• Charge management and efficient patient throughput
