Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
- Perform routine vital signs and chart documentation accurately
- Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with teammates to create comfortable, person-centered care plans
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Comfortable working the scheduled evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) on Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat
- Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) and resident mobility
- Basic skills in taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Good documentation habits and teamwork in a clinical environment
- Ability to respond calmly and professionally in routine and urgent situations
