Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Support mobility and safe transfers while promoting resident independence
- Monitor resident condition and report any changes promptly to the nursing team
- Document care and observations accurately and timely in resident records
- Assist with meal service and basic hygiene while preserving resident dignity
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
- Contribute to a positive, respectful environment that enhances resident quality of life
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- State certification or the ability to obtain New Jersey CNA credentials if not already held
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a resident-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfort with assisting residents with ADLs and mobility
- Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observations
- Infection prevention and safe hygiene practices
- Accurate documentation and basic computer/EMR familiarity
- Teamwork, time management, and the ability to follow care plans
