Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Day). Cyclic scheduling with a 4x10s pattern; call rotation 10-13 days per month including weekends and holidays.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Interventional Radiology setting
- Assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with the IR team, including neuro IR techs and physicians, during diagnostics and procedures like thrombectomies and stent placements
- Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to maintain continuity of care
- Perform and assist with IV starts, patient transport, and procedural preparation
- Participate in call rotation and respond promptly to department needs, including occasional floats to nearby sites
- Maintain compliance with unit policies (including fingernail/artificial nail policy) and complete required competencies and orientation exams
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Interventional Radiology, ICU, or ER (required)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Valid driver’s license required at time of submittal (used for radius verification)
- Comfortable with call rotations and occasional floating within Radiology
Education
- Active RN license required
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient charting and documentation in EPIC
- Experience with Siemens Artis Icono or similar IR imaging equipment
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills, especially in neuro/IR cases
- IV starts and procedural support skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly under pressure
