Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Perform thorough patient assessments and apply evidence-based practice to drive positive outcomes
• Communicate effectively using SBAR and maintain strong collegial relationships across disciplines
• Demonstrate leadership by serving as a clinical resource and role model for peers
• Manage time and prioritize tasks to contribute to unit productivity and patient safety
• Participate in the Unit Based Council and shared governance to improve care and the work environment
• Complete unit- and competency-based objectives and perform other duties consistent with the role

Qualifications

• Active Michigan nursing license required (provide LARA and Nursys verification)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2+ years Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience (required)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties (required)
• Ability to meet health system profile standards and provide requested documentation
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; strict attendance policy begins 2024-06-01
