Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU setting
• Assess and monitor complex patients, interpreting data and acting decisively
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and titrate drips per protocols
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families, offering clarity and compassion during stressful times
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (or compact RN as applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and emergency response skills
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of critical care principles and best practices
• Experience with ventilator management and advanced airway care
• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive medications
• Proficient in IV therapy, central line care, and infusion pump management
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-education abilities
