Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day shifts (typical start/end times: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). No weekends or observed holidays. Typical weekday off (usually Tuesday or Wednesday); be flexible as unit needs vary.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography (including 3D mammography) to support accurate breast imaging diagnoses
- Operate and maintain digital and Hologic 3D mammography equipment with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Chart accurately and efficiently using EPIC to ensure complete, compliant patient records
- Prepare patients with compassion and clear explanations, ensuring comfort and informed care for adult and geriatric patients
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinic staff to prioritize cases and streamline outpatient workflows
- Manage a typical daily workload (approximately 15–18 exams/day) while maintaining attention to detail and radiation safety
- Complete required orientation and participate in unit-based training as needed
Qualifications
- Active Washington state radiologic license (WA license) — required
- ARRT certification (ARRT and ARRT (M) required; ARRT (R) preferred) and current BLS
- Minimum 1 year of mammography/breast imaging experience
- Proven experience with 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography and screening mammograms
- EPIC charting experience — EPIC skills required
- Experience in outpatient imaging settings preferred
- First-time traveler OK; local approved for candidates from other non-Swedish Providence facilities separated 3+ months
Knowledge & Skills
- 3D Mammography (Hologic 3D experience preferred)
- Diagnostic, Screening and Digital Mammography techniques
- EPIC electronic charting and documentation
- Outpatient clinic workflows and patient throughput
- Patient communication and age-appropriate care for adults and geriatrics
- Basic life support (BLS) and ARRT standards/compliance
