Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the medical record
- Perform timely patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
- Support ADLs (activities of daily living) and promote patient comfort and dignity
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
- Participate in safety and quality initiatives to help improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Current immunizations and ability to meet facility health requirements
- Comfortable working the listed schedule (Sunday, Monday, Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude; recent clinical experience is a plus
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in medication administration and basic wound care
- Competence in patient assessment and recognizing changes in condition
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
- Good clinical judgment, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
