Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the care team
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care that preserves dignity and comfort
• Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Document care thoroughly and accurately in resident charts and reports
• Observe for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential in good standing
• T-LNA (Training LNA) accepted or relevant LNA certification as listed
• Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Comfortable working in long-term care or similar settings; travel assignment adaptability
• Professional, compassionate communication skills and a strong team orientation

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands-on resident care skills and attention to detail
• Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
• Clear, respectful communication with residents, families and team members
• Reliable documentation and charting practices
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
• Infection control, safe lifting and transfer techniques
