Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to patients, ensuring comfort and safety
Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders
Monitor and document patient vital signs, status changes, and clinical progress
Perform wound care and basic nursing procedures following facility protocols
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record and communicate handoffs effectively

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (required)
Experience in a clinical setting preferred; previous acute or rehab experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to work Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse (LPN) program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration and documentation practices
Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Basic wound care and infection control procedures
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
Teamwork, time management, and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
Patient education and compassionate bedside manner
