Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
• Escalate concerns and participate in clinical decision-making to improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — California
• Telemetry experience required; comfort with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced per-diem environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• IV therapy, medication administration, and documentation best practices
• Patient assessment and clinical triage
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Teamwork, clear communication, and patient-centered care
