Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate a wide variety of surgical cases including CABGs, craniotomies, robotic procedures, and trauma
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality care
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support both locations as needed
Precept new staff and share your expertise when the unit needs extra support
Respond to call within 30 minutes to keep life-saving procedures on schedule

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4 years of hospital OR experience (5 years strongly preferred)
Proven ability to circulate in multiple specialties including CV, Neuro, Ortho, and General
Hands-on robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems
Strong references and a track record of reliability

Knowledge & Skills

Circulating CABGs, TCARS, and Carotids
Experience with craniotomies, TLIFs, laminectomies, and discectomies
Comfort with ortho trauma, total joints, and ORIFs
DaVinci robot skills for general, urology, and CV cases
Mako robot experience for orthopedic procedures
Ability to handle eyes, endo, and cysto cases as needed
