Location: Tacoma, Washington

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday required, standby as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to diverse patients across med-tele units
Monitor and record vital signs to support timely clinical decisions
Assist with activities of daily living to help patients feel comfortable and supported
Perform PIV and foley removals while ensuring patient safety and dignity
Float between St. Joseph Medical Center, St. Clare Hospital, and St. Elizabeth Hospital to deliver excellent care wherever you're needed

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Washington
Experience with vital signs and med-tele level of care
COVID vaccine required
Ability to float between multiple facilities within Region Two

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfort working with a variety of patient populations including cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical
Flexibility to adapt to different units and patient ratios
Attention to detail when performing procedures like EKGs and catheter care
