Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during surgical procedures as directed
- Serve as first assistant across ortho, robotics, neuro, GYN, urology, vascular, and general cases
- Scrub in and support the surgical team throughout procedures
- Float between campuses as needed to support patient care
- Respond to call within 30 minutes when scheduled
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- RNFA certification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN specialties
- Strong scrubbing skills required
Knowledge & Skills
- Robotics experience is a must-have
- Comfortable with Cerner EMR documentation
- Ability to handle a wide variety of surgical cases
- Flexible with floating between campuses
- Reliable call response within 30 minutes
