Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating support across neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics cases
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the OR team to ensure smooth, safe procedures for patients of all ages
Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed, showcasing your versatility and adaptability
Educate and mentor fellow staff while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety
Respond to call shifts and weekend coverage to keep the OR running seamlessly around the clock

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in multiple surgical service lines including neurosurgery
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment without specialized teams
Willingness to pass an open-book skills exam during orientation
Valid driver's license at time of submittal to confirm 50-mile radius eligibility

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Solid understanding of neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics procedures
Ability to scrub in or circulate across varied case types
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to daily schedule changes and floating assignments
