Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-31-2026

End Date: 08-30-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care to patients from neonates through geriatrics across all inpatient floors
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry with precision and care
Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and fellow therapists to deliver seamless patient care
Adapt quickly to different patient care levels and clinical situations each day
Manage time effectively while maintaining flexibility and strong communication with the care team

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and not be employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in any capacity

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion ventilators
Experience with Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics S/T BiPAPs
Familiarity with Airvo2 high-flow systems
Strong time management and adaptability
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
