Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements 1 night every 6 weeks including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care for surgical patients
Monitor and respond to cardiac rhythms while caring for ICU patients in the PACU setting
Collaborate with the surgical team on diverse cases including ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI procedures
Support patients through critical post-anesthesia transitions with skilled assessment and intervention
Float to surgery center as needed while maintaining the highest standards of patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Previous ED or ICU experience strongly preferred
Epic EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

PACU nursing expertise with strong assessment skills
Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Comfort managing ICU-level patients during recovery
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to float and adapt to changing unit needs
