Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour call after a shift every week and weekend call from Friday evening to Sunday evening about every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons across a wide variety of specialties including ortho, neuro, robotics, GYN, eyes, and ENT
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each case
Support complex procedures from total joints and craniotomies to robotic surgeries and organ procurements
Collaborate with a skilled surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and hospital protocols

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Driver's license required at submittal to verify 50-mile radius rule
Must have 3's in all specialty areas to submit

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ortho, neuro, GYN, eyes, ENT, and robotics procedures
Comfortable with Davinci Robot, stealth navigation, and o-arm technology
Knowledge of general, laparoscopic, GU, plastics, thoracic, and endoscopy cases
Ability to handle pediatric cases in emergency situations
Strong sterile technique and attention to detail
