Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, variable days with weekend and call requirements

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general, OBGYN, and vascular ultrasound examinations
Conduct ultrasound-guided procedures including drains and biopsies
Deliver compassionate patient care while maintaining imaging standards
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
Ensure accurate documentation using Fuji EPIC systems
Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification in General or OBGYN ultrasound
BLS certification required
RVT certification preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in general and OBGYN ultrasound procedures
Vascular ultrasound experience highly valued
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
Patient positioning and comfort during procedures
Phillips ultrasound equipment operation
Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Strong attention to detail and image quality assessment
