Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Administer non-titrating drips and manage patients on CPAP and high-flow oxygen
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists
Float to other telemetry units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care excellence
Complete required SIMs Lab training and demonstrate sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with two attempts allowed
Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings; men must be clean-shaven for fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Comfortable floating between telemetry units and managing varied patient acuities
Proficient with Philips telemetry monitors and Cerner EMR documentation
Skilled in sterile technique and common nursing procedures
Team-oriented with excellent communication and adaptability
