Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to 9-10 patients daily across acute care and NICU settings
- Conduct modified barium swallow studies to assess swallowing function
- Develop individualized treatment plans for adult inpatients and premature infants
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Support feeding needs for infants in the NICU with specialized care
Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in California
- Experience performing modified barium swallow studies required
- Comfortable working with both adult acute care patients and premature infants
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- Speech Therapy techniques for acute care patients
- NICU feeding support for premature infants
- Patient assessment and care planning
