Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with rotating weeknight and weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a wide variety of surgical specialties
Assist with robotics procedures using the advanced DaVinci Xi system
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow
Respond to call coverage with a 30-minute response time when needed
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support patient care needs
Maintain accurate documentation using the Surgical Information Systems EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2-3 years of operating room experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
BLS certification required
Proficiency with robotics Xi procedures and a broad range of surgical cases
Trauma experience is a plus
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and GI procedures
Comfortable working in an 8-suite OR with 5-30 cases daily
Familiarity with Cerner or EPIC makes learning SIS quick and easy
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to adapt to call schedules and floating needs
