Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac and stroke care to adult and geriatric patients
Monitor continuous EEG and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Titrate cardiac and seizure medications safely while watching for patient response
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to deliver excellent care ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed to support the broader team
Think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and drip titration expertise
EEG monitoring experience
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to remain positive and solution-focused under pressure
