Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-31-2026

End Date: 08-30-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, same schedule week to week with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub independently for cranial procedures and neuro-trauma cases
Assist with total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma surgeries
Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile technique across 11 suites
Support a fast-paced environment handling 18 cases daily on average
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety
Utilize advanced technology including DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred but not required
BLS certification required
Strong experience in orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
Ability to scrub cranial cases independently
General OR experience with comfort in neuro, ortho, urology, and ENT cases
Willingness to take call and respond within 15 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cranial and neuro-trauma procedures
Skilled with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Strong sterile technique and scrubbing abilities
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Commitment to patient safety and clear communication
