Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on orthopedic therapy to patients recovering from shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow injuries
- Create personalized treatment plans that help patients regain strength and mobility
- Collaborate with rehab aides and the care team to ensure seamless patient progress
- Document patient care using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute settings
- Support patients across acute inpatient, rehab, transitional care, and outpatient environments
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license required
- BLS certification required
- Outpatient orthopedic experience with focus on upper extremity therapy
- Hands-on experience with shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills
- Upper extremity therapy expertise
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 12 patients per day
- Familiarity with ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems
- Lymphedema training is a plus
