Location: Tacoma, Washington

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, standby as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical patients
Monitor and record vital signs while supporting med-tele level of care needs
Assist with activities of daily living and mobility for patients with COPD, heart failure, and infectious diseases
Perform PIV and foley catheter removals while maintaining patient comfort and safety
Collaborate with nursing teams across multiple facilities as a valued float team member

Qualifications

Active CNA certification required
Experience with vital signs and med-tele patient populations preferred
Ability to float between St. Joseph Medical Center, St. Clare Hospital, and St. Elizabeth Hospital as needed
COVID vaccine required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced med-tele environments
Comfortable floating between multiple hospital locations
Knowledge of common diagnoses including COPD, cardiac conditions, and post-surgical care
