Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor patients using ventilators and hemodynamic equipment while delivering expert nursing interventions
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians to support holistic patient recovery
Float to same-level med/surg and PCU units as needed, bringing your skills wherever they're needed most
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make every interaction count

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemotherapy administration certification required
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
First-time travelers welcome with a genuine passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and a smile even on tough days
Comfort with chemotherapy, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to titrate insulin and cardizem drips
Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse patient backgrounds
Willingness to float and support colleagues across units
