Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients including CHF, respiratory, GI, diabetic, post-cath, and total joint replacement cases
Interpret cardiac telemetry strips and document findings each shift
Monitor patients on set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nursing assistants to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to support facility needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some experience with CVA and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation
Total joint replacement experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Medical-surgical nursing fundamentals
Patient assessment and care planning
Electronic medical record documentation with Cerner
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
