Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Administer non-titrating drips and manage patients on CPAP and high-flow oxygen
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapy
Float to other telemetry units as needed to support the broader hospital mission
Maintain sterile technique during Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma cardiac telemetry experience
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac step-down and post-surgical patient care
Philips telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
Safe medication administration and sterile procedures
Effective communication within a multidisciplinary team
