Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized care for neonates requiring intensive support
Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with precision
Collaborate with neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine specialists
Support families during critical moments with compassion and expertise
Float to Mother-Baby and L&D units to care for newborns and well babies
Maintain compliance with AWHONN/NANN staffing guidelines
Serve as a safety advocate when floating to other units

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 3 years of NICU nursing experience
Experience working with ventilators and central lines
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
